It has been a pleasure working with someone who lives out what they preach and is passionate about health. I have been inspired and believe I now have the answers to a healthy lifestyle. I have struggled with my weight for many years, and was never truly happy with my size and shape. I have had a great Christmas break eating a few naughty things here and there (with maybe a few too many vinos.... some things never change) but now knowing how to maintain balance. Before seeing you I was 65kg, a large size 10, occasionally went to the gym and could barely run 5km. Now I am a fit 60kg, ran 14km in the city to surf in under an hour and a half and do weights 3 times a week. I feel SO much better! I have joined the WA running club and am going to do interval training tonight which I'm really looking forward to. I trained with Matt for a period of 3 months while I was living in Australia. I am delighted to say that after throwing money away with other personal trainers, I finally found a man who gave me results and turn my training around for the better. Matt seemed to put so much time and effort into planning my training and not only worrying about what exercise I did, but also teaching me that my food intake played a huge part of the whole weight loss issue. We had three one-hour sessions together per week. Not only did I get to work every part of my body and experience a gruelling workout, I managed to lose weight at a steady and satisfying pace. Frankly, I can't thank Matt enough for his encouragement and support and I truly believe that having met Matt has set me on the road to good health and fitness. Matt is a great trainer but importantly is a great motivator. He offers nutrition advice so I can take a holistic approach to both diet and exercise. I would thoroughly recommend Matt as a personal trainer for either 1:1 or buddy up with a friend like I do with my partner. Christina
